When engaging in online online pool competitions, scoring can be a bit confusing for beginners. In this article, we will break down the basics of scoring in pool, making it easier for you to start playing and improving your skills.

First and foremost, understanding the different types of shots is essential in scoring. The most basic shot is the break shot, which is used to break the formation of the balls in the rack after each turn. For a break shot, the player is awarded 7 points if they hit 4 or more balls (including at least 4 colored balls) with the cue ball.

The most common shots in scoring are solids. In solids, players attempt to pot the solid-colored balls (yellow, green, and دانلود بازی بیلیارد آنلاین با پول واقعی brown) in numerical order. Players who successfully clear the solid-colored balls receive 7 points. On the other hand, players in the stripes game attempt to pot the pink-hued balls (red, blue, and pink) in numerical order. Players who clear the striped balls also receive 7 points.

In addition to the basic shots, there are other types of shots that contribute to the score. A combination shot is considered successful when the player pots multiple balls with one shot. There are no additional points for combination shots; rather, the player gets to continue playing with reduced deductions.

Conversely, a "called shot" is a shot that the player announces before attempting it. A successful called shot awards the player 2 points. Called shots also carry the risk of being penalized if the player fails to execute the shot, as the points are removed from their total score. However, if the player misses the shot and inadvertently pots a ball, their points are quadrupled. This rule may be allowed in various online pool games to make the gameplay more straightforward.

Lastly, scoring is also affected by safety shots. A safety shot is considered successful when the player hits the cue ball against an object ball without causing any of the other balls to be potted. The player who executes a safety shot gets to continue playing with their turn, while the opponent must play safe as well, with some deductions in points from their total score.

Understanding these basic scoring rules will help you navigate the world of online pool games and boost your confidence as you start practicing your skills.
